A few weeks ago I met up with Casie and Mike at Coopers Rock in West Virginia! It was a blast and I can not wait till their wedding in the fall!LOVE!Flare! one of my favorite things :)We hiked down to the Henry Clay Iron Furnace which was totally worth it!A smiling pup makes me smile :)

Michelle & Chris married a couple of weeks ago, on a gorgeous Sunday. They exchanged vows at the Camp Sonrise Mountain Chapel in Markleysburg.I just love a gorgeous bride sepia :)The next two are Danny’s images…I just love them!Another reason why I love my second shooter…this one is mine…and this is Danny’s angle. :)We then headed to Uniontown for the celebration.Their reception was held at Caporella’s.LOVE!Chris watching in the background makes me Happy!Time for some Gangnam Styleand then to the YMCA.Congratulations Michelle and Chris!!!

Shallenberger SportsPlex Dedication

Last Saturday the Connellsville Soccer Club kicked off its 2013 spring season at their new home in Bullskin Township and I was there to document the events. The club hosted a community celebration at the site that included a dedication ceremony, ribbon cutting and activities for children. The Shallenberger SportsPlex, donated by Shallenberger Construction Inc., has multiple soccer fields, new concession building and a playground. Bullskin Township supervisor Deb Wiltrout and State Representative Deberah Kula were the first two speakers…Club president, Dave Panzella, along with a couple of the clubs soccer teams…State Senator Rich Kasunic…U.S. Congressman Bill Shuster…and club board member Tuffy Shallenberger.She scored the first goal on the U-6 field!

Last week my sister, Katie, and I went to Phipps Conservatory. I have not visited Phipps since I was in college. We went there often, at least every couple of months to shoot some photos. So to say I have a nice collection of photos and slides from Phipps in an understatement. This time around I had many different lense options. I shot a handful with my wide angle and pretty much everything else with a macro. Macro + flowers = way to many images :) Enjoy!I really enjoyed the Desert Room…I love this shot of Katie!Love the colors in this one.Thanks for the many memories Phipps!

Jen & Ken were married a couple of weeks ago at Calvary United Methodist Church in Uniontown. I just loved all the details they had set up at the church. High school sweethearts saying I Do! :) After the ceremony we headed to Storey Square in Uniontown.Such a fun group!The gorgeous ladies…and the handsome silly guys. Love these images…Their reception was held at the Duck Hollow Golf Club in Uniontown. Bridal dance fun…Congratulations Jen & Ken!!!

Punta Cana 2012

In August, Danny and I traveled to Punta Cana for a relaxing week long vacation. We had an AMAZING time and enjoyed ever second. Hurricane Isaac was traveling by the Dominican Republic as we were heading there. The weathermen here in the states made it sound much worse then it was in Punta Cana. Having your own tv on a plane with many cable channels was awesome.We arrived to our resort, Dreams Punta Cana, in the evening. Luckily there was just a light rainfall that continued thru the night. We had dinner at the buffet and called it an early night. Traveling with delays from a hurricane is tiring. The next morning we explored the resort with my big camera in hand. This was the only day that camera left the room. I always pick the least pretty day to take it out on every vacation. The pool spanned the entire resort…this is one of the many entrances to it from the rooms. The big camera was on its way back to the room…the rest of the images were taken with my point-and-shoot and my waterproof p&s camera. Instead of scheduling a personal photoshoot we just got our photos taken with the animal of the day, everyday :)Grill on the beach.I was so excited to see all of this Diet Coke that I couldn’t even get it in focus! lol!Danny at one of the bars.The sun came out to stay!Entertainment staff doing the resort dance at the pool.Danny played water polo almost everyday. I just enjoyed watching him…I was too lazy from doing nothing, to walk up to the room to get my big camera to have some quality photos…Still a great shot of Danny scoring a goal. :)Pool bar in the late afternoon.He was the best! Such a fun dinner.Nothing like a frozen drink outta a camera lense cup in paradise. Palm trees…Gotta represent!On our last night, we were surprised with this dinner. At the beach party with out lovely suntans lol!Hope to see you again soon!!

Turtle Rescue

In the summer and fall I don’t have any time to touch our personal photos. During my down time I try to catch up on them (nowhere near being close to editing all of 2012). But I recently went thru these of the turtle my brother-in-law rescued from 5 corners in Uniontown back in July. So to continue the week of personal images, I bring you the turtle rescue! Love that red eye…Awesome detail.And Danny being Danny.

Here are those images I mentioned in yesterday’s post of my twin cousins, Michael and Mario.These were taken back in the fall at Jumonville.

Mario the model doesn’t like to smile or look at the camera much…I just let him do his thing…When he does look, I get the serious face…which I think is awesome.Favorite one of just him…And here is Michael. Just getting pictures taken for Mom. They hate to have their picture taken together…This is what I usually get…This came after Mario gave Michael bunny ears.Love the image, but they are not happy to be standing that close to each other lol!My FAV!!!And they let me get One shot with them. :)
