Last week my cousin Sarah and I got together to photograph headbands that she has created for her new website. They are really cool and unique! As a hairstylist she always had clients wanting to find unique headbands and she realized there was not much of a market for them…so she started making them herself. Everyone of her headbands are one of a kind.

Okay this image needs some explaining….especially to justify how crazy I look! Katie took this shot of the “Dance Line” (like in the movie Hitch). I am doing the “Emily Ellen Dance”. I learned these “Ellen” moves from Emily, so I thought it was a great time to show them off!

Aunt Char attempted to teach Danny how to polka. Attempt is the keyword.

The Mr. & Mrs. also took a swing at trying…hopefully David didn’t learn his dance moves from his brother.

After the ceremony was over we headed to Friendship Hill for photos. I love shooting at that place.

David and Emily Part 1

I’m a little behind on blogging. I’m going all the way back to August 22, 2009. My brother in-law, David, married my high school friend, Emily. Danny and I were the best man and matron of honor. I took a ton of pictures that day even tho I was involved so there are some parts missing…like the ceremony. We started the day off at the salon with Panera bagels and caffeine.

Emilys dress! Cantalamessa & Sons in Uniontown (also where the guys tuxes are from) did an awesome job at making this dress more “Emily”. The train originally had two layers. She had the material layer removed and made into sleeves. I think that made the lace detail pop! It turned out great!

Connie Early was Emily’s florist. She also did the flowers for our wedding in 2008.

I got her to the church on time! Wedding time!!!!…..

Twin Lakes Family Session

Last month I had the priviliage of photographing Jim and Beth’s family at Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg.

This is my new buddy Steven, he is an awesome big brother!

And this is happy baby James. Steven would tickle his cheeks to get him to smile, see I told you he is an awesome big brother!
