Hopwood Light-Up Night

Hopwood held its yearly Light-up Night on Friday. The Laurel Highlands’ cheerleaders sang Christmas carols along with the children.

The Laurel Highlands Jazz Band performed the holiday music for the event.

The Hopwood Christmas tree on Route 40 decorated by the Laurel Highlands High School students with the ornaments made by students from Hutchinson Elementary School.

Santa arrived on a horse-drawn wagon driven by Randy Breakiron.

Robert Esquivel from the Herald-Standard took this shot of me and Bekah …Thanks Robert!

Bekah with the South and the North…Supervisors.  Tom Frankhouser, Rob Tupta and Curt Matthews.

South Union Township supervisors Tom Frankhouser and Rick Vernon supplied lighting for Bekah.

Santa listened to the wish lists of nearly two hundred children.

We waited till all the kids saw Santa before we got out picture with him. Thanks to Supervisor Rick Vernon for taking this for us!
